Dr. Alex Willis

Dr. Alex Willis is a cataract and refractive surgeon who joined Prairie Eye Center in August 2022. He has special interests in functional plastic surgery and cosmetic treatments, including Botox. His approach to eye care is centered on service, having participated in ophthalmology missions to Haiti, and he is dedicated to offering the best available treatments through collaborative planning with each patient.

Dr. Willis focuses on reducing dependency on glasses by maximizing current technology during cataract surgery and LASIK procedures. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City and completed his ophthalmology residency as chief resident at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Previously, he graduated with honors from Missouri University of Science and Technology with an engineering background.

Outside of ophthalmology, Dr. Willis enjoys biking, golfing, and is a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals.
