Dr. Alessandra Intili

Dr. Alessandra Intili is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract extraction as well as reconstructive and functional surgery of the eyelids. She is also certified in cosmetic services for the face and eyelids, including Botox, facial fillers, and skin resurfacing with lasers and chemical peels. Dr. Intili has a special interest in laser-assisted cataract surgery, for which she has presented and published.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Intili serves as the fellowship co-director for the Academic Global Ophthalmology department at Wills Eye Hospital, where she continues to surgically and clinically mentor ophthalmology residents in the most complex forms of cataract extraction. She holds an appointment as an associate professor at Sidney Kimmel College of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University and serves as Chief of Ophthalmology at Holy Redeemer Medical Center in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania.
