Dr. Alden Leifer

Dr. Alden Leifer has been caring for patients in Northern New Jersey for over 40 years. He provides comprehensive ophthalmic care with expertise in cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, and diabetic eye conditions. Dr. Leifer is known for his compassionate approach and dedication to staying current with the latest technology in eye care.

Dr. Leifer is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has maintained special interests in cataract, glaucoma, and diabetes management, and has served as staff ophthalmologist at the Passaic County Jail and North Jersey Developmental Center. He received the LEO Award for Lifelong Education for the Ophthalmologist from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
