About Me

Dr. Adam Neuhouser is an ophthalmologist completing an ASOPRS-approved oculofacial and orbit surgery fellowship with Kahana Oculoplastic & Orbital Surgery. One of a small cohort of surgical fellows in North America, he focuses on conditions that affect the eyelids, orbit, tear ducts, and periocular skin. He believes exceptional care begins with careful listening and clear plans tailored to each person’s goals and daily life.

A Midwestern native, Dr. Neuhouser graduated summa cum laude from Iowa State University, earned his medical degree with Honors in Research from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota. His academic interests include thyroid eye disease and the use of artificial intelligence in ophthalmology, and his work has been presented at national meetings. He received the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Best Resident Surgical Video Award in 2024. Outside of clinic, he enjoys golfing, cooking adventurous dishes, and cheering on the Chicago Bears.
