About Me
Dr. Adam Brent Jacobson is a pediatric ophthalmologist at the University of Michigan whose practice centers on children with vision disorders and adults with strabismus. He manages the full spectrum of misalignment conditions and provides longitudinal care for patients with pediatric glaucoma, working closely with families to tailor treatment plans that fit each child’s needs. At Michigan Medicine, he also serves as an associate medical student clerkship director and is active in teaching residents and fellows. His research interests include outcomes and therapies for pediatric glaucoma and congenital eye disease, with an emphasis on translating evidence into everyday clinical care. Patients describe his approach as calm, clear, and compassionate, and he strives to make visits understandable and less stressful for both children and parents. Dr. Jacobson sees patients at the Kellogg Eye Center and at the Brighton Center for Specialty Care as part of the Pediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus service.
