Meet Dr. Zsolt C Bansagi

Dr. Zsolt Bansagi is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and refractive surgery at Eye Center South. He provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on advanced technology for cataract treatment and refractive procedures such as LASIK. Dr. Bansagi also manages a wide range of general ophthalmic conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and corneal disorders. He performs minor oculoplastic procedures and has a special interest in modern cataract and refractive surgery techniques.

Dr. Bansagi completed his undergraduate education at California State University, San Bernardino, and earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He then completed an internship at Albany Medical Center and a residency in ophthalmology at Lion’s Eye Institute. Prior to his medical training, he served in the United States Air Force.

Since moving to Panama City in 2004, Dr. Bansagi has been dedicated to serving the local community with high-quality eye care. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
