Dr. Zeynep Gursel Ozkurt

Dr. Zeynep Gursel Ozkurt is an ocular oncologist and ophthalmologist whose practice centers on the diagnosis and treatment of eye tumors. At UC Health and the University of Cincinnati, she cares for adults and children with conditions such as ocular melanoma, retinoblastoma, and optic nerve tumors, working closely with multidisciplinary cancer teams to provide coordinated, evidence-based care.

Her training spans several premier centers internationally. Dr. Gursel Ozkurt completed medical school at the University of Istanbul and an ophthalmology residency at Sisli Etfal Education and Research Hospital. She pursued ocular oncology research at Kellogg’s Eye Center and advanced clinical fellowship training at Princess Margaret Cancer Center, followed by dedicated retinoblastoma research at Sickkids Hospital.
