Meet Dr. Yogin Patel

Yogin Patel, MD, is a retina specialist who cares for patients with medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous. His clinical interests span a wide range of retinal conditions, including retinal detachment, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, epiretinal membranes, macular holes, and retinal vein or artery occlusions.

Dr. Patel completed undergraduate education at the University of Georgia and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He trained in ophthalmology at Henry Ford Health System and served as Chief Resident during his final year. He then completed a two-year vitreoretinal fellowship with Cincinnati Eye Institute/University of Cincinnati. In addition to clinical care, he has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented research at national and international meetings. He emphasizes careful evaluation, clear explanations, and personalized treatment plans to help patients protect and improve their vision.
