About Me
Yi-Hsien Yeh, MD, is an ophthalmologist who serves as the Chief of Ophthalmic Trauma for the 2024-2025 term in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. In this role, he leads efforts in the management and treatment of eye injuries, bringing specialized care to patients with traumatic eye conditions.
Dr. Yeh completed his undergraduate education at the University of Virginia from 2007 to 2011. He then earned his medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine, graduating in 2020. He pursued his first year of postgraduate training (PGY1) in internal medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Dr. Yeh completed his ophthalmology residency at WashU Medicine in St. Louis, finishing in 2024.
With his extensive training and leadership in ophthalmic trauma, Dr. Yeh is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care, particularly for patients with eye injuries. His background in a top-tier residency program and his current role as Chief of Ophthalmic Trauma underscore his expertise in the field.
