He serves as the director of refractive surgery at Vance Thompson Vision and is a professor of ophthalmology at the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota. Dr. Thompson has performed over 100,000 vision correction surgeries and is recognized internationally for his expertise in laser vision correction (LASIK) and implant vision correction.
