About Me
Tyler Etheridge, MD, is a Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellow at the University of Wisconsin–Madison Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. His appointment as a fellow spans from July 2023 to June 2026, during which he is receiving specialized training in the surgical management of retinal and vitreous conditions.
Dr. Etheridge earned his medical degree from the UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. Prior to his residency, he completed a pre-residency pathology fellowship at the UW-Madison Wisconsin Reading Center, focusing on ocular pathology. He then undertook his ophthalmology residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine, building a strong foundation in comprehensive eye care.
As a fellow, Dr. Etheridge is dedicated to advancing his skills in vitreoretinal surgery to provide high-quality patient care. His training integrates clinical expertise with surgical precision, contributing to the department's mission of excellence in ophthalmology and visual sciences. He is committed to improving outcomes for patients with complex eye diseases through advanced surgical techniques.
