Dr. Tom Straus

Dr. Tom F. Straus is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive medical and surgical eye care at Cincinnati Eye Institute's Middletown location. A Cincinnati native, he has served the community for over three decades, including 15 years as a solo practitioner and later joining CEI in 1996.

After more than 39 years of active practice, Dr. Straus is transitioning from daily clinic responsibilities but will continue to perform laser procedures at the Middletown Surgery Center. He remains on the medical staff of Atrium Medical Center, where he has been active in medical staff leadership.

Dr. Straus's practice focuses on general ophthalmology, addressing conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, and age-related macular degeneration. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and welcomes new patients to his Middletown office.
