About Me
Dr. Timothy S. Wells is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, commonly known as oculoplastics. He provides surgical and medical management for a range of eyelid, tear duct, and orbital conditions. As an associate professor of ophthalmology at the Medical College of Wisconsin Eye Institute, he combines clinical practice with teaching.
Dr. Wells treats patients with conditions such as ptosis, thyroid eye disease, orbital fractures, eyelid lesions and skin cancers, tear drainage problems, and blepharospasm. He also offers cosmetic and reconstructive procedures including eyelid and brow surgery, orbital surgery, and reconstruction following skin cancer removal. His approach emphasizes thorough explanation and compassionate care.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Wells serves on the Education Committee of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and participates in board examinations for oculofacial surgeons. He sees patients at the Eye Institute at Froedtert Hospital and Westbrook Health Center.
