Meet Dr. Thomas Michael Meirick

Dr. Thomas M. Meirick is a fellowship-trained cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon at Wolfe Eye Clinic. He helps patients with corneal disease, visually significant cataract, and refractive needs, offering options that range from advanced cataract surgery to laser vision correction and corneal transplantation. An Iowa native, Dr. Meirick earned his MD at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington, and pursued a Cornea, Refractive, and Anterior Segment fellowship at Minnesota Eye Consultants. He sees patients across multiple Wolfe Eye Clinic locations in the Des Moines area and remains active in research and national meetings.
