About Me
Dr. Steven A. Nissman is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the president of Nissman Eye Associates in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. He attended medical school at Hahnemann University and completed his ophthalmology training at Georgetown University Hospital, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Nissman has held faculty positions at the Scheie Eye Institute at the University of Pennsylvania as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and also teaches residents at Wills Eye Hospital and Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, where he serves as Chief of the Division of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Nissman provides comprehensive eye care for adults and children, including routine exams and contact lens fittings. He diagnoses and manages a wide range of eye conditions, including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, dry eye, and complex neuro-ophthalmology issues. His surgical expertise includes state-of-the-art cataract surgery and cosmetic eyelid surgery for facial rejuvenation.
