About Me
Dr. Stephen R. Glaser is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist and the founder of Kids Eye Care of Maryland. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of eye conditions in children and infants, as well as adult strabismus. Dr. Glaser completed his pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at Northwestern University and his ophthalmology residency at Georgetown University. He also holds a medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and graduated with honors from the University of Michigan.
Dr. Glaser has a particular expertise in eye muscle (strabismus) surgery and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), a condition affecting premature infants. He established the first major ongoing national meeting on ROP in 2014 to advance care in this area. Affiliated with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Dr. Glaser is recognized as a top doctor by Washingtonian and Bethesda Magazine, reflecting his commitment to providing high-quality pediatric eye care.
