About Me
Dr. Myles Potter is a cornea specialist providing top-quality eye care at Aiken Ophthalmology, serving patients in Aiken and North Augusta, South Carolina. A proud native of North Augusta, he brings local insight to his practice. He excelled as valedictorian at North Augusta High School and played collegiate football at Davidson College, where he was named an Academic All-American for three consecutive years and selected for the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Football Team.
He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, completed an internal medicine internship there, and then pursued specialized training in ophthalmology at the University of Florida. Dr. Potter further advanced his expertise with a fellowship in cornea and external disease, focusing on conditions like corneal dystrophy and refractive surgery. This training enables him to offer comprehensive care for cataracts, eyelid procedures, diabetic retinopathy, and other eye health issues.
Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Potter enjoys spending time with his wife Kathryn Anne and their children. His interests include family activities, friends, golf, and traveling, which help him connect with patients and maintain a balanced lifestyle.
