About Me
Dr. Stephen K. Magie is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a specialization in diseases of the retina and vitreous. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences after attending the University of Central Arkansas. Dr. Magie completed his internship at the University of Tennessee and his ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University, followed by a retina fellowship at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans.
Dr. Magie holds several leadership positions in medical societies, including President-elect of the Arkansas Medical Society, Chairman of its Board of Trustees, and President of the Arkansas Ophthalmology Society. He is also the Arkansas Councilor for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Retinal Surgeons. In the community, he is involved with the Conway Downtown Partnership, Conway Chamber of Commerce, and St. Josephs Catholic Church.
Dr. Magie has been married for 38 years and has children, grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. He is dedicated to providing expert retinal care and contributing to the medical community through his professional roles.
