About Me
Dr. Shreya Prabhu is a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology at the Ross Eye Institute, part of the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Boston University and completed her residency at the Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan, where she also served as chief resident. She further specialized through a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the same institution and continued on as faculty, training future ophthalmologists.
Dr. Prabhu provides comprehensive care for a range of childhood eye conditions, including amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (crossed or wandering eyes), congenital and developmental eye problems, and ocular issues related to pediatric systemic diseases. She has a particular expertise in complex strabismus cases for both children and adults, involving reoperations, thyroid-related eye alignment issues, and paralytic strabismus. She is dedicated to serving the children and families of Western New York through the Ross Eye Institute.
