About Me
Dr. Shannath Merbs is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastics and cosmetic surgery. He is a professor of ophthalmology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where he provides expert care for conditions affecting the eyelids, orbit, and tear ducts. His clinical focus includes both functional and cosmetic procedures to improve vision and appearance.
Dr. Merbs completed his ophthalmology residency and a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at the Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins University.
