Meet Dr. Sean Platt

Dr. Sean Platt is a retinal specialist providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for complex eye conditions. He earned his BS degree magna cum laude from Baldwin Wallace College and his MD degree from the Northeastern Ohio Medical University. His ophthalmology residency was completed at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, followed by advanced fellowship training in ocular oncology at the Cleveland Clinic and in vitreoretinal surgery at the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Platt's principal clinical interests include macular surgery, retinal detachment surgery, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal lasers, and ocular oncology. He practices with Retina Associates of Cleveland, a group dedicated to retinal care, and his expertise encompasses the latest surgical techniques and treatments for retinal diseases.
