Dr. Saumya Copparam

Dr. Saumya Copparam is a board-certified ophthalmologist who practices general ophthalmology. She chose this specialty because it gives her the opportunity to preserve and restore vision, which directly maintains her patients' quality of life. As a general ophthalmologist, she helps patients with various eye conditions, including cataracts, dry eyes, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration.

Dr. Copparam's philosophy of care is to provide evidence-based, culturally competent, and compassionate care on the level she would want for herself or her family. She encourages her patients to be active participants in their health so they can work together to create personalized treatment plans best suited to their individual needs. She is currently accepting new patients by referral only and practices at the Vallejo Medical Center.
