Meet Dr. Sadeer Hannush
About Me
Dr. Sadeer B. Hannush is a cornea specialist at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, where he serves as Attending Surgeon on the Cornea Service and Professor of Ophthalmology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and surgical management of corneal diseases, cataract surgery, and vision correction procedures. He performs a wide range of corneal transplants, including full thickness and partial thickness techniques such as DMEK, DSEK, and DALK, as well as corneal collagen crosslinking and ocular surface reconstruction with permanent keratoprosthesis.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Hannush has lectured internationally and participated in National Institutes of Health-sponsored clinical trials. He has received multiple honors, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology's Life Achievement Award and recognition as a Top Doctor by Philadelphia magazine. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and continues to advance the field through teaching and surgical innovation.
