Dr. Royce Syracuse

Dr. Royce R. Syracuse is an ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange, and the medical and laser treatment of glaucoma. He was among the first in Charlotte to perform laser cataract surgery using femtosecond laser technology and provides comprehensive eye care including routine exams, dry eye treatment, and optical services. Dr.

Syracuse has served as Chief of Ophthalmology at Novant Hospital and has been a member of the Horizon Eye Care Board of Directors. He has conducted numerous educational lectures and holds professional memberships in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and other societies. Dr. Syracuse sees patients at Horizon Eye Care locations in Huntersville and Mooresville. He is fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish.
