About Me
Dr. Rohini Rao is an ophthalmologist who specializes in cornea and external diseases, including refractive surgery, ocular surface disease, and corneal trauma. She completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University and earned her medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Rao then completed her ophthalmology residency at Mass. Eye and Ear, Harvard Ophthalmology, where she is now a fellow in cornea, external diseases, and refractive surgery.
Her research has focused on the cornea, with a first-author paper in Current Opinion in Ophthalmology on thyroid eye disease management and a case study on the treatment of severe graft-versus-host disease. Dr. Rao is known for her excellent surgical skills, work ethic, and positive bedside manner. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with corneal and external eye conditions.
