About Me
Dr. Robert Walter Jensen is a specialist in neurology and neuro-ophthalmology at the Kentucky Neuroscience Institute, where he focuses on visual and vestibular disorders of the central nervous system, epilepsy, and neuro-immunological and neuro-infectious diseases. He is dedicated to providing careful evaluations and effective communication to ensure patients understand their conditions and treatment options.
Before becoming a physician, Dr. Jensen earned a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and worked as an active trial lawyer and managing partner of law firms in Salt Lake City. This unique background enhances his ability to analyze complex medical cases and communicate clearly with patients.
Dr. Jensen completed his medical degree at the University of California San Francisco and pursued extensive training, including a neurology residency at the University of Kentucky, a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at the University of Michigan, and a neuro-otology fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute. He has served on faculty at several universities and holds the rank of Associate Professor, bringing a deep academic and clinical perspective to his practice.
