About Me
Dr. Robert M. Christiansen runs a Low Vision Rehabilitation Clinic at the John A. Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He is a nationally recognized expert in low vision and has dedicated his career to the care of patients who are partially sighted or visually challenged. Dr. Christiansen has been a member of the Moran volunteer faculty since 1983 and joined the Moran team as an Adjunct Associate Professor in 2014.
Dr. Christiansen has been recognized by the Utah Ophthalmology Society with its Humanitarian Service award for his extensive humanitarian work, which has included providing service in over 20 countries. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
