About Me

Dr. Robert Clark is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 25 years of experience, specializing in both pediatric and adult eye care. He has a particular focus on treating special needs children and premature infants, and he is especially skilled in managing complex eye misalignment problems.

Dr. Clark completed his medical degree at Stanford University School of Medicine and his residency at the Jules Stein Institute at UCLA. He then pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, further honing his expertise in childhood eye conditions and alignment disorders.

His clinical interests include nearsightedness, eye misalignment problems, and the biomechanics of normal and abnormal eye movements. Dr. Clark is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Ophthalmological Society, and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus. He currently sees patients at South Bay Family Eye in Long Beach, California.
