Dr. Richard Walker

Dr. Richard Walker is a board-certified ophthalmologist serving Northern New Jersey, practicing alongside his father as the second generation of his family in the field. He provides care for conditions including cataracts, corneal disease, and refractive errors, offering treatments such as corneal surgery and LASIK.

Dr. Walker completed a fellowship specializing in LASIK and corneal surgery at Albany Medical Center. He served as Chief Resident of Ophthalmology at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell University. Dr. Walker has been published in Cornea, a leading ophthalmology journal, and has lectured on topics including DSAEK corneal transplant surgery and various ophthalmic treatments.
