About Me
Ravi Shah, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract, cornea, refractive, and anterior segment surgery. He provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on patient-centered treatment, ensuring that each individual's needs are prioritized.
Dr. Shah earned his Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science and Managerial Studies from Rice University, graduating magna cum laude. He then received his medical degree with high honors from Baylor College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and awarded the Carlos and Doris Morris Scholarship of Presidential Excellence.
He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, followed by a residency in Ophthalmology at the Roski Eye Institute, University of Southern California. During his residency, he served as Chief Resident and earned the Senior Resident Teacher of the Year Award. Dr. Shah further specialized with a fellowship in Cornea, Refractive, and Anterior Segment Surgery at the Cullen Eye Institute, Baylor College of Medicine. He is an active member of several professional societies and contributes to ophthalmic research.
