About Me
Dr. Boundaoui is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained medical retina specialist who provides comprehensive eye care with an emphasis on both vision restoration and long-term eye health. His clinical work includes advanced cataract surgery options, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and eyelid procedures, including blepharoplasty. He also evaluates and treats retinal disorders, helping patients understand what’s happening in the back of the eye and what treatment options may be appropriate.
He earned his medical degree from Rush University Medical Center in 2010 and completed ophthalmology residency training at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Akron, where he served as chief resident. He then completed subspecialty fellowship training at the Retina Institute of California focused on the evaluation and treatment of retinal disorders. In visits, he aims to explain diagnoses clearly, discuss benefits and tradeoffs of treatment choices, and tailor care to each patient’s goals and day-to-day needs.
