About Me
Dr. Ogul E. Uner is an ophthalmologist specializing in uveitis and ocular immunology, with advanced training in vitreoretinal surgery. He is currently a fellow at Casey Eye Institute of Oregon Health & Science University and will be joining Tennessee Retina for further specialization. His clinical expertise includes managing complex retinal diseases and uveitic conditions, particularly masquerade syndromes.
A graduate of the Casey Eye Institute ophthalmology residency program, where he served as Chief Resident, Dr. Uner earned his medical degree with highest honors from Emory University School of Medicine. He is actively engaged in research, with numerous publications in top ophthalmic journals, and contributes as a peer reviewer to advance medical knowledge.
Dedicated to mentorship and patient education, Dr. Uner uses his platform to support the next generation of physicians and empower patients through shared experiences. His approach combines clinical excellence with a commitment to inclusivity and compassion.
