Dr. Ofer Eytan

Dr. Ofer Eytan is a senior doctor at Desert Eye Specialists who has been with the practice since 1996, bringing decades of experience in ophthalmology to his patients. He was born in Jerusalem, Israel and moved to Arizona with his family at age two, becoming a naturalized citizen. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Arizona after completing a BS in Microbiology there, then went to the Medical College of Wisconsin for his ophthalmology training.

Dr. Eytan has performed thousands of surgeries and specializes in modern cataract surgery using all the latest technologies. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and continues to enhance his education through regular seminars and courses to provide patients with the most effective developments in eye care. Outside of practice, he is married with two children and enjoys traveling, playing ice hockey, and spending time with his family.
