About Me

Dr. Nicholas Behunin is a board-certified ophthalmologist and cornea specialist with advanced training in corneal transplantation, refractive surgery, and complex cataract procedures. He cares for patients with corneal and ocular surface conditions and offers both partial- and full-thickness corneal transplants, ocular surface surgery, and laser vision correction.

Originally from Clawson, Utah, Dr. Behunin earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Utah. He completed ophthalmology residency training at Pennsylvania State University and then pursued fellowship training in cornea and external disease at the University of Michigan’s Kellogg Eye Center.

Dr. Behunin is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the Cornea Society and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. His writing has been published in ophthalmic textbooks, medical journals, and industry publications.
