Meet Dr. Neelakshi Bhagat

Dr. Neelakshi Bhagat is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the treatment of retinal conditions. She completed advanced fellowship training in retina at the University of Southern California. Her training includes a medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine, an internship at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital & Medical Center, an ophthalmology residency at Rutgers-NJMS, and a retina fellowship at the University of Southern California.

She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds a New Jersey state medical license. Dr. Bhagat is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists, the Macula Society, the Retina Society, and the American College of Surgeons. She is affiliated with the Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System and provides care for a variety of retinal disorders, such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, and other vitreoretinal conditions.
