Dr. Nancy Vilar

Dr. Nancy F. Vilar is an associate professor of ophthalmology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She provides comprehensive eye care with a particular focus on neuro-ophthalmology, addressing complex visual problems related to the nervous system.

Dr. Vilar is board certified in ophthalmology. She completed a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and pursued advanced training in neuro-ophthalmology and strabismus in Madrid. Her clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and management of conditions such as optic nerve disorders, visual field defects, double vision, and other neuro-ophthalmic conditions.
