Dr. Michael Furlong

Dr. Michael Furlong is a board-certified ophthalmologist who focuses on advanced vision correction procedures, including topography-guided LASIK, PRK, refractive lens exchange, and laser-assisted cataract surgery with advanced lifestyle lenses. A former LASIK patient himself, Dr. Furlong understands the life-changing impact of clear vision. He established Furlong Vision Correction in 1998 and takes great satisfaction in helping patients see clearly without glasses or contact lenses.

Dr. Furlong personally meets with and works alongside each patient throughout the entire vision correction process. His approachable style encourages patients to ask questions and make informed decisions about their eye care. He is dedicated to providing honest, personalized care.

Dr. Furlong brings extensive training to his practice, including a refractive surgery fellowship at the Gimbel Eye Centre and a residency at the University of Utah Moran Eye Center. He has also trained ophthalmologists abroad and co-authored articles and book chapters on refractive surgery.
