About Me
Dr. Margolis is an ophthalmologist with specialty training in cornea, external eye disease, and refractive surgery. He believes in compassionate, science-driven patient care with the goal of improving and restoring vision and enhancing comfort and quality of life. He works with his patients as a team to make decisions that best suit them individually.
His clinical focus includes infectious and inflammatory eye disorders, surgical treatment of corneal loss of vision and blindness through corneal transplantation, and the management of keratoconus, cataracts, dry eyes, and improvement of vision through refractive surgery. As an academic surgeon, clinician, and educator, his research focuses on translational efforts to improve corneal and ocular surface wound healing in the treatment of various inflammatory and infectious ocular surface diseases.
