Sherman is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Oakland Eye Care who specializes in cataract surgery, including femtosecond laser–assisted techniques and advanced intraocular lens options. She helps patients choose among multifocal, extended depth-of-focus, accommodating, and toric lenses to match their visual needs, and she offers care for coexisting conditions such as astigmatism. Dr. Sherman also has special interests in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and functional and cosmetic eyelid procedures. A Michigan native, Dr. Sherman earned her BA at Washington University in St. Louis, completed medical school at the University of Michigan, and finished ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago.
