Dr. Matthew Neale

Dr. Matthew D. Neale is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. Born in Pocatello, Idaho, he spent part of his upbringing in the United Kingdom and Canada. He earned his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School in 2007, then completed an internship in internal medicine at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Virginia in 2011. Dr. Neale has recently relocated to Idaho and continues to offer his expertise in a wide range of eye conditions and treatments.

Dr. Neale’s practice focuses on advanced cataract surgery techniques, including no-stitch, no-shot, and no-patch procedures, as well as laser vision correction. He manages medical and surgical glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and wet macular degeneration. Additionally, he performs functional and aesthetic plastic surgery around the eyes. Dr. Neale is dedicated to providing personalized care, utilizing the latest technology to help patients achieve and maintain optimal eye health.
