Dr. Massiel Mena

Dr. Massiel Mena is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the Clinical Administrator and House Physician at Eye Florida. She provides comprehensive eye care that includes routine eye examinations, cataract evaluation, and glaucoma management, and she complements this with wellness services that reflect her interest in whole-person health. In addition to her ophthalmic practice, Dr. Mena offers anti-aging treatments, IV hydration, and physician-guided weight-loss programs to support patients’ energy, recovery, and long-term wellbeing.

Dr. Mena earned her medical degree at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) in the Dominican Republic, where she also completed a preliminary general surgery year and an ophthalmology residency. She later pursued advanced training in management, completing a master’s program in Public Business Administration and a PhD in Healthcare Management at DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management. Her career includes leadership roles, community outreach, and participation as a principal investigator, and she has contributed articles to peer-reviewed publications.
