About Me
Dr. Marlene Wang is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in retinal diseases and vitreoretinal surgery at NJRetina. She completed her vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Harvard University's Massachusetts Eye and Ear and her ophthalmology residency at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Wang is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Society of Retina Specialists and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Her clinical expertise includes the full spectrum of retinal conditions, and she is skilled in advanced procedures such as vitrectomy, scleral buckling, and laser treatments for retinal diseases. Dr. Wang has been recognized for her patient care and research, receiving the 2021 Retina Patient Care Award and presenting at national conferences including the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Wang enjoys yoga, hiking, volleyball, cooking, traveling, and painting, which help her maintain a balanced approach to patient care.
