Dr. Leni Sumich

Dr. Leni T. Sumich, II is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He completed his undergraduate education at Tulane University and earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Sumich then completed his ophthalmology residency at the LSU Eye Center/Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Sumich specializes in cataract and refractive surgery, including LASIK, and provides comprehensive eye care for conditions such as glaucoma, dry eye, and retinal disorders. His clinical approach is centered on delivering high-quality, patient-focused care with an emphasis on service, convenience, and affordability.

As a member of Eyecare Associates in Metairie, Dr. Sumich is dedicated to offering advanced surgical and medical treatments to help patients achieve and maintain optimal vision. He is committed to continuing the practice's tradition of excellence in eye care for the New Orleans community.
