About Me
Dr. Kellyn Bellsmith is a pediatric ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care for children and strabismus care for both children and adults. Her visits emphasize comfort and clarity for families—what to expect, why testing matters, and how treatment supports vision development. She diagnoses and treats eye misalignment, amblyopia and refractive errors, and offers surgical options when appropriate for persistent double vision or strabismus.
Dr. Bellsmith earned her M.D. from the University of Missouri, completed ophthalmology residency at OHSU’s Casey Eye Institute, and pursued fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus at Casey. As an assistant professor at Casey Eye Institute’s Elks Children’s Eye Clinic, she works closely with pediatricians, therapists and school nurses to coordinate timely care and long-term follow-up.
