Meet Dr. Kashif Mohammad Baig

Dr. Kashif Baig is a cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon who serves as the Medical Director of Herzig Eye Institute in Ottawa. With extensive training and a commitment to surgical innovation, he specializes in advanced procedures of the anterior segment, including complex corneal transplants, cataract surgery, and laser vision correction. His expertise is trusted by fellow eye surgeons across Eastern Ontario, who refer their most challenging cases to him.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Baig is the founder of the Precision Cornea Centre and provides tertiary-level surgical care for both adults at The Ottawa Hospital and children at CHEO. He is known for his affable bedside manner and dedication to achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients, whether they are seeking routine cataract surgery or more specialized refractive procedures.
