Dr. Karen Nipper

Dr. Karen Nipper is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in oculoplastic surgery, offering both medical and cosmetic eyelid care. She treats conditions such as eyelid drooping, lower eyelid malposition, eyelid lesions, tearing disorders, blepharospasm, and provides reconstruction after periocular skin cancer. Her practice also includes cosmetic eyelid surgery, Botox injections, and chemical peels.

Dr. Nipper sees patients at offices in Hamden and Waterbury, Connecticut, where she provides thoughtful, individualized care that combines reconstructive and aesthetic principles. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital and her fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, following a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and undergraduate studies at Vassar College.
