Dr. Kara Della Torre

Dr. Kara Della Torre is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained retina specialist at Bannett Eye Centers in Woodbury, New Jersey. She joined the practice in 2011 as the only fellowship-trained retina physician in the Woodbury area, bringing specialized care for retinal conditions. Dr. Della Torre focuses on medical retina, treating diseases such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vascular occlusion.

Dr. Della Torre completed her ophthalmology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and pursued additional fellowship training in medical retina at several prestigious New York institutions. She is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists and holds staff appointments at Wills Eye Hospital and Jefferson University Hospitals. Outside of her practice, Dr. Della Torre is an active athlete who enjoys snowboarding and surfing.
