Dr. Juliet Essilfie

Dr. Juliet O. Essilfie is an ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon with Kaiser Permanente in Southern California. She is board certified in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Essilfie is a physician surgeon who takes great pride in partnering with members to optimize their ocular health. She provides comprehensive ophthalmology care with a specialized focus on retina and vitreous surgical conditions.

Dr. Essilfie completed her medical education at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. She then pursued a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at New York University and completed her residency in internal medicine at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. She also performed an internal medicine internship at Olive View/UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Essilfie was raised in Southern California and is thrilled to have returned home to establish her career and serve the community. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
