Dr. Julia Kang

Dr. Adam Craig Weber is an ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon who treats conditions affecting the eyelids, tear system, orbit, and surrounding facial structures. He emphasizes teamwork with patients, taking time to explain diagnoses and options so care decisions feel clear and shared. Dr. Weber earned a biomedical engineering degree from Yale University and completed medical training at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed an ophthalmology residency at the Cleveland Clinic and then pursued fellowship training in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. In his practice, he cares for functional and reconstructive concerns such as eyelid position problems, blocked tear ducts, orbital trauma, thyroid eye disease, and periocular tumors and skin cancers. He also has experience with cosmetic procedures of the upper face, including botulinum toxin and fillers.

Dr. Zhenyang (James) Zhao is an oculoplastic surgeon at Emory Eye Center who cares for conditions of the eyelids, orbit, and tear ducts, along with a full range of aesthetic eyelid and facial procedures. His clinical practice includes repairing eyelid malpositions, restoring form and function after skin cancer removal or trauma, and managing thyroid eye disease and orbital tumors. For patients seeking cosmetic improvement, he offers upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty, facial rejuvenation, and minimally invasive forehead lifts with a natural-looking result. An Assistant Professor at Emory and a fellowship-trained member of the Oculoplastics, Orbital, and Cosmetic Surgery division, Dr. Zhao trained at the University of Michigan (ASOPRS fellowship) and the University of Texas Medical Branch (residency) after earning his MD at Fudan University. Dr. Thomas Kandl is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. He provides functional and cosmetic care for conditions affecting the eyelids, tear-drainage system, orbit, and the upper and mid-face, combining precise surgical technique with an emphasis on restoring comfort, vision protection, and a natural appearance. After completing undergraduate studies at Wofford College, Dr. Kandl earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed ophthalmology residency training at Rutgers University and pursued additional fellowship training in Global Blindness Prevention through the University of Nebraska, including clinical and teaching work in developing countries. He then completed a 2-year ASOPRS fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Kandl has participated in research and has published and presented at national meetings.
