Dr. Johnny Li

Dr. Johnny Li is a glaucoma specialist and comprehensive ophthalmologist serving patients at NY LASIK in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. He focuses on the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, providing individualized treatment plans that may include medications, laser procedures, or surgery to protect patients’ vision over the long term. He also offers general eye care and works closely with patients to monitor disease progression and preserve quality of life.

Dr. Li earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering with a biotechnology concentration from the University of California, Berkeley, and obtained his medical degree from the State University of New York College of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara, followed by ophthalmology residency at the New York University Department of Ophthalmology. He then pursued fellowship training in medical and surgical glaucoma at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Li is committed to using the latest advances in glaucoma care while maintaining a warm, accessible manner in the exam room.
